Hey There!

Get to know me

I’m a lifestyle, family, and portrait photographer based in the greater Sacramento area. My journey began in a high school film photography class, where I discovered how much care and intention it takes to turn a single moment into a tangible print. That process taught me to slow down, notice the details, and approach each frame with purpose — a mindset that continues to guide the way I photograph today.

That early love of film still inspires my editing style: warm, timeless, and cinematic. Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens, my goal is always to create a calm, comfortable experience where your natural self can shine through. I’m drawn to candid moments, genuine connections, and the little details that tell the bigger story.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually surrounded by my favorite chaos—my husband, our two little ones, and our two pups. I love going for runs, baking something sweet, curling up with a good fantasy book, or tending to my garden. I’m just a gal who loves stories whether they’re lived, read, or captured through my lens.

Testimonials

" Lacey is a wonderful photographer not only in talent but also in who she is as a person. She truly captured our family perfectly. The candid moments she caught of my husband and I, the silly moments shared between our kids and us, and the memories we will hold dear for the rest of our lives. She had our daughters giggling and captured their attention the entire time(which any mom knows can sometimes be a struggle lol!) "
